Emily Maya Mills was born and raised in San Francisco and has spent the last decade tilling a career as a comedic writer/performer in Los Angeles. She's a regular fixture at the UCB Theatre in Los Angeles and has appeared on Key and Peele, Orange is the New Black, Comedy Bang! Bang!, The Birthday Boys, Childrens' Hospital, Harry's Law, Crash and Bernstein, Parks and Recreation, Agents of Shield and many of television's most humiliating commercials. Her recent one-woman show earned praise from the LA Weekly which called it, "...a sagacious autopsy of the frailties and foibles of life," and asked, "Could Emily Maya Mills be the next Carol Burnett?" Emily's been named a "Funny Female to Follow on Twitter" by the Huffington Post and once worked as a spokesmodel for cherry tomatoes. Growing up, she attended Burke School, Presidio Middle, SHCP and completed her formal confusion at Emerson College.
